IntroductionThe Clinical and Translational Research Incubator CITRIC at the Medical College, Aga Khan University, has been established to transform research by creating a centralized space to incubate clinical and translational research projects, enabling them to become large extramurally funded programmes with significant national and international impact. The projects at CITRIC will have a high impact on the populations that AKU serves, will be of highest peerreviewed reproducible quality, will provide access to research resources, and will be contextually aligned with the local needs. Job Role ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Senior Manager, Centre for Patient Safety, you will be responsible forassisting the research team at the Centre in piloting, testing and refining research toolscoordinating communication between the research team at the Centre and other stakeholders for data collectioncollecting data from respondents by using a fullrange of qualitative and quantitative research techniquesassisting the CPS research team in writing reportsutilising Quality and Patient Safety resources for developing Patient Safety coursesplanning, organising and conducting patient safety courses in liaison with the CPS teamassisting in analysing quantitative and quantitative data, collating and analysing complex datasummarising completed protocols and studies writing scientific articles and manuscripts for publication and presentationmonitoring progress of research projects and coordinating information between various sections of the institutionmonitoring and collaborating research activities and ensuring smooth and efficient daytoday operations of data collection activitiesmaintaining data quality control, conducting data management and data analysis as per study objectivesassisting in preparing manuscripts and abstracts for publications and presentations as required by investigators, administrators and funding agencies. Eligibility Criteria RequirementsYou should havea minimum of MBBSBDSBScN along with MSc. degree in Epidemiology and Statistics Masters in Public Health Masters in Health Policy Management three to five years of related work and comparable experience at a reputable and relevant organization, experience in Quality and patient safety will be preferredan understanding of evidence synthesis and systemic reviewsability to demonstrate sound judgment in managing challenging and sensitive situationsexcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdustrong organisational, project management, planning and problemsolving skillsexcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholdersdemonstrated interest in healthcare Quality and Patient Safety is a plus.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
